Meet Zach and Bree Gore, the couple behind the thriving Virginia-based business, Acers Landscape and Design. You might know them for their beautiful landscaping work, but their story is just as captivating.

 

Native to NOVA, Zach and Bree met in high school and later tied the knot in 2016. They now share their home with two adorable cats, Felix and Ollie, who they adopted in 2019. Bree graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Family Studies, while Zach is currently studying Business Management online from Brigham Young University Idaho.

Their journey to starting their own landscaping company wasn't always easy. Zach began working in the lawn care industry when he was 12, but stopped when he went on a two-year church service mission. After a few years working for various landscaping companies, both Zach and Bree knew they wanted to run their own business someday. That moment finally arrived at the beginning of 2022, when they launched Acers Landscape and Design.

 

As you might have guessed, the name 'Acers' was inspired by Zach's favorite tree: maple, or Acer in scientific terms. The company colors were chosen based on the most common and popular colors that maple tree leaves turn in the Fall.

But beyond the name and the colors, Zach and Bree's passion for landscaping is rooted in a deeper purpose. They believe in preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the world, one outdoor space at a time.
